Do you remember the question I asked when we last met 2 years ago? I want to ask you that again. Is Jennie complete now?

That's just my personality. I don't know how [to be] satisfied. There's still a lot I want to do, and I don't think it's been filled. So I always craving for something. I think I'll just stop there if I'm satisfied with myself. I don't want to be complete.

Do you still listen to Lauryn Hill often?

I always have it on my playlist. But I'm trying to find new influences. These days I really like H.E.R. She's so cool. Did you see that she covered the Lauryn Hill song? I really really liked it. There's another artist I really like these days, ah wait a minute [looking through her phone] Oh, I found it. She's a singer named Ama and she has a great voice! I want to find and listen to various kinds of music and show my potential and style. I have been snooping around here and there for inspiration.

Instead of taking pictures taken by the photographer, you always took a few more pictures with your camera. It's fun.

Ay, but it's definitely different from a pictorial. For pictorials I have to think about the overall mood and make a facial expression or pose accordingly. But when that's over and I take a picture with my camera, I can have a freer and more casual look. It's a pity to just have it as a pictorial. Instead, I go home and watch it alone.

Can't we watch it together? Do you always watch it alone?

When I like it, I post it on Instagram. SNS is a channel where I can communicate with my fans right away, so of course I share it. I try so hard to make this and that fun.

What is Jennie's camera today?

These days? (Looking through the Chanel bag by her chest) Nowadays, what I use is one of the cameras I really love, so I won't let you know. haha. This is a film camera called Ricoh GR. I used a digital camera called GRD so much and recently bought a film camera of the same model. This is my first roll here. So I'm looking forward to see how the photos I took today will come out.

Is the other one really a secret?

Yes, it really is. (Laughs) I'll just show you a little bit, so don't write it in the interview. It looks like a toy. I fell in love with it after seeing someone take pictures with this camera on a European trip and I acquired it with some difficulty.

What do you watch these days?

The most recent movie I watched was "Isn't It Romantic". I saw it on the plane, and it's about the protagonist, who doesn't believe in romance movies, one day becoming the protagonist of a romantic comedy. A movie about finding love. I watched it lightly. These days, I started watching "Suits". I love that. (laugh)

But it can't beat "Stranger Things", can it?

That's right. I started Netflix with "Stranger Things". Contrary to how I look, I love space, moon, Mars, aliens science fiction and stuff like that. Oh, children too. There's everything I like in "Stranger Things".

You like the universe, Jennie looks a little different though?

I'm very interested in it. I can't just read books and study, so I watch a lot of movies like that since it's a place I can't even go.

Now space travel is no longer a dream, but a reality. What would you do if someone sent you on a space trip?

If there's a guarantee that I will return to Earth, I'll go right away.

I heard you got a special gift from the "Stranger Things" team last Christmas?

Yeah, I woke up and the internet went crazy. At first, I thought someone edited it. I'm a fan of "Stranger Things" from the beginning. So that's why they sent me a gift. I got it and bragged about it. I'm still sleeping wearing the T-shirt I got. Hehe.

It's so good to know that season 3 is coming soon right? You're smiling the brightest today.

Yes. I'm waiting now. I'm always curious about Eleven's story. The girl's secret. Oh, I forgot about it but I like talking about "Stranger Things" after such a long while. It seems like I have to rewatch season 1.
